One Sip Review 🚨 Ya girl was back in her home state & you already know I’m on a journey to find the best spicy marg!!! Café Coyote in Old Town San Diego didn’t have my favorite just yet but it was still a hit! Here are some of my other food recs when in SD🫶🏼

Café Coyote - This spot in Old Town San Diego is great for a family outing! The tortillas are made fresh, the Chile rellenos are spicy and delicious, and their margarita flights offer a little bit of everything.

In & Out - I will stand by the fact I am an In & Out girl foreverrrr!!! I get the Double Double with grilled onions & chopped chilis, animal style fries and a chocolate shake. You won’t regret adding this to your list🤤

Neighborhood- This restaurant downtown is super unique and great for a date night. They have two speakeasy’s in the back and a unique cocktail menu. The blooming onion, Smash burger, & Bolognese are all to die for!!!

The Fishery- Family owned spot with local fresh catches and a relaxed vibe! They also have a retail market in case you want to cook up your fish at home🤩

Tuetano Taqueria - This is as authentic as it gets and you don’t want to miss out on their slow cooked birria or the roasted bone marrow 🤤

Fort Oak - This is a staples in Mission Hills and has a relaxed atmosphere with an upscale cocktail menu and unique menu curated by their chef🤌🏼

Bencotto - Local Italian spot that you have to try. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming. The cheese wheel pasta and Octopus is sooo yummy! And you can’t go wrong with the Pane Bread.

Big news to share…making the right decision is usually the hard one, and this decision involved conversations, counsel, & most importantly, peace. Here’s to going in the most authentic direction where we can thrive!

The Big Three:

Charcuterie Ordering
Charcuterie boards for pick-up or delivery (by phone or online ordering). Pick-ups & deliveries will stay the same, with being available to order Tuesday - Saturday between 9-5 pm

Catering
This is where we are changing things up! We will offer an expanded catering menu to showcase our talents outside or charcuterie.

Private Events
We will continue to book private events at our 1008 S. Poplar St! This venue is perfect for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, and more! Our goal is to create a thoughtful, curated, and custom event fit for each client’s needs. (Yes we’ll still be doing things like girls day out!!! & other fun stuff)

This all started with growing this business on Insta- and I can’t thank you enough for the clients, community, friends, & family that continue to support us. Thank you for continuing to support us on my little corner of the internet 🫶

Cannoli Content!!!!! One thing about me is I am a Cannoli gorllll okay. My favorite cannoli I’ve ever had was in Boston but in NYC we found a close second🤩 If you’re in the city you have to check out @venierospastry for great pastries, cocktails, and boozy coffee🤤

Heaven’s Hot Bagels - Turkey Bacon, Egg, & Scallion Cream Cheese on a Sesame Bagel is to dieee for!

@ixtanyc - the spicy margs, guacamole, & birria tacos are a must try! The sophisticated but relaxing atmosphere also makes for a great dining experience.

Clinton St. Baking Company - best breakfast!!! We had Huevos Rancheros & Potato Pancakes which were killer. The pancakes are also fluffy and delish. @clintonstbakingco

Malatesta Trattoria - local Italian spot with amazing pasta, wine selection, & the perfect atmosphere for a date night. The Ragu and Veal Meatballs were our favorite. @malatesta_nyc

The Warren - Great cocktails, quaint environment and the menu variety is ideal for a group wanting multiple things! @thewarrennyc

John’s of Bleeker Street - last but top of list for the killer pizza!!! You don’t want to miss out on their pizza, salads, and calamari when you’re visiting🤤 @johnsofbleeckerstreet

Spicy Roasted Jalapeño Pineapple Margaritas 🍍

Happy Cinco de Mayo aka Cinco de Drinko!!! You have to add these on the list of drinks you’re making today because they are to do die for! Refreshing, spicy, and easy peasy. This recipe makes two but double it for a crowd or yourself, ya know what I meannn😉

What you’ll need:
- 1 cup ripe pineapple chunks or 3/4 cups fresh pineapple juice
- 6 ounces 21 Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño Tequila
- 1 Jalapeño (Roasted or blister on your stove top)
- 1 1/2 tbsp agave
- Juice of 2 limes
- Agave & Tajin for the rim

Directions:

Muddle pineapple chunks in shaker. Add tequila, agave, & lime juice into shake. Slice your roasted jalapeño and add a few chunks into the shaker. Add ice and shake well. Rim your glass with agave and then Tajin. Add some ice and pour your margarita. Add extra jalapeño slices for serving! Cheers 🥂 Let me know how you like this one🤩

Mother’s Day French Toast Bake 💗

This French Toast Bake is so easy and yummy! There’s no doubt it will be a crowd pleaser when you’re hosting your family for Mother’s Day! You can sub the pecans for other nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, or chocolate chips. Tag me if you make it🤩

What you’ll need:

- 1 Loaf Brioche or Challah from @peppelahchallah 🤌🏼
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp cinnamon

Topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, fruit, or chocolate chips

Cut bread into large chunks and set aside. Grease your 9x13 pan. In a large bowl, add eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, cinnamon, maple syrup, & vanilla extract. Whisk well. Spread your bread evenly in your dish and cover with egg mixture being sure that each piece is coated. Leave it in the fridge over night or for a minimum of 1 hour. When ready to bake preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Bake uncovered for 35 - 45 minutes. Serve with Berry compote and a little more maple syrup, enjoy 🤤

Spicy Blackberry Margarita 🌶️🥵

You have to try this while berries are still in season, this might be a new fav!

What you’ll need:

- 2 ounces spicy tequila
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce spicy simple syrup
- .5 ounce blackberry syrup
- Salt, cayenne, & red chili flakes for the rim
- 5 blackberries muddled

Rim your glass and muddle your blackberries. Add ice! In a shaker, add your tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and blackberry syrup. Shake well and pour over ice! Cheers 🍻
